High API latency was caused by a number of inefficient indexes within the database servers. We have taken measures to automatically rebuild inefficient indexes to prevent a similar incident from happening in the future.

API latency is back to normal. All API requests during this period have not been dropped or rejected.

We have identified the underlying cause for the issue causing high API latency and are deploying a hotfix at this time. All servers should be patched within the next 30 minutes and high latency is expected to return to normal ranges. No requests were dropped or rejected as a result of this performance degradation.
