API High API latency post-mortem

High API latency for a collective duration of approximately 10 minutes was caused by a memory leak in one of our Node.js packages. We believe we have been able to pinpoint the exact reason for the leak and have deployed a fix to prevent this from happening in the future.

We will continue to monitor the API servers' memory utilization to verify that the leak has been mitigated.

API API high latency post-mortem

High API latency for a duration of approximately 5 minutes was caused by a burst of requests to our API which required more RAM than anticipated. No requests were dropped, API latency is back to normal ranges.

The API servers' memory has been increased substantially to prevent this from happening again in the future.
