High API latency was caused by an unexpected burst of API requests that managed to surpass the capabilities our over-provisioned compute capacity. We have greatly increased the available API compute capacity and will be monitoring continuously to prevent a similar incident from happening in the future.
API latency is back to normal. All API requests during this period have not been dropped or rejected.
